Set in gritty, working-class Syracuse, New York, the story unfolds across dual timelines—one tracing Ronnie Rhode’s violent rise through the criminal underworld, the other following Tim Randall who stumbles into the remnants of Ronnie’s world decades later when he enters the shoe repair shop owned by timid Billy Cranny.

As Ronnie confronts the demons of addiction, incarceration, and his shattered sense of self, Tim finds himself pulled into a web of past crimes, shadowy threats, and unexpected spiritual reckonings. Their fates, inexplicably linked by a simple shoe repair shop and a series of life-altering meetings, collide in a narrative that explores the price of violence—and the quiet, daily work of atonement.

Inspired by true events and shaped by raw honesty, Syracuse Hitman v. The Shoe Repairman is a redemption thriller rooted in faith, grit, and the real-world complexities of healing after a life of harm.
