Harry Martinez

Harry R. Martinez is a former enlisted Marine and U.S. Army infantryman with more than nine years of active-duty service, followed by continued service in the Army National Guard, where he retired at the rank of Sergeant Major. He was involved in three conflicts in Central America and Southwest Asia, encompassing six combat deployments and two operational rotations. He pursued academic studies in American history at American Military University. He also served nearly fifteen years with the Princeton Township Police Department, New Jersey, where he was assigned to the Patrol Division and Emergency Response Team. His memoir, ONE IS A WARRIOR, takes the reader through 2005-2006 during his deployment in Ramadi, Iraq, as the leader of a sniper team, known as Shadow 4.
